Pinewood Derby- here we go!

So here begins the Pine Wood Derby Create -a - thon- David made three cars with the boys this year and helped with a fellow cub scouter who lived across the street.  the Boys had big plans for their cars and David and I hoped to make their plans come true.  Noah is blue Lightening, Isak was the ever popular spongebob and JOnah had major plans for a green dragon.

 

the day of the race was in late april and the cub scouts gathered in the gym with creative and fast cars.

So this April I took a photography class so I could learn to actually use all those little buttons on my camara.  I took a lot of phots of my boys of course and a few little other things.  The apple blossoms were in full bloom at NOrton Brothers Orchard in Cheshire Connecticut.  I can't wait to eat the apples this fall- the honey crisp can send you into a sugar coma- but I digress.

We went and took some fun shots of spring and who is that little gnome in the orchard- he has come too early for good eats.

Dentist and Ice Cream

I haven't been posting for awhile, mostly because with five kids I am so busy I barely have time to breathe.  Now I have to play catch up- this little trip happened back in April and so that is where our story continues...

This is what mom does after we go to the dentist and we are close to one of our favorite ice cream places- we eat ice cream!  The most poplur flavor is Cookie Monster- blue vanilla ice cream with cookie dough!
